Welcome to the website for Snapshots of a Soldier, a documentary film about a young man named Jason Bogar. Jason was a soldier with a filmmaker's soul. Through three deployments, Jason shot thousands of videos and pictures, and he edited them together to try to capture his experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. Above is a trailer for the film, due to be finished in May 2010, and on this site you will find out more about Jason, his pictures and videos, and this documentary film that aims to tell his story.
