Snapshots of a Soldier is my thesis film, and a labor of love. As such, no one is paying me for the time that I'm putting into it, or the costs that I'll accrue (and have already begun to accrue) to make it the film I want it to be. While my goal--as I'm sure is the goal for most filmmakers--is to keep the budget as low as possible, there will be expenses: to fly across the country to interview Jason's family and friends, to license news footage from the day of the attack, to get the right music to orchestrate the film.
